In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!!!

Speedsters!
A student of mine came up with this idea. I really liked it
and it motivated me to see it through visually. We talked about it and I
placed a few extra characters in the final composition. I'll be adding
ink and color to it, digitally. When finished, I'll print my student a
copy to treasure for a long time.

I saw the new Batman vs Superman movie. It pains me to say...I will not be purchasing this movie when it arrives on DVD. I wanted a movie that made me want to aspire to be a superhero and most definitely, Superman. This movie did not do this for me, sadly. Looks like I will continue to look to the Christopher Reeves movies. Below is a sketch piece I completed with a bit of humor. #batmanvssuperman

Joker's Triumph
A painting commission for a private client. Acrylic on 11x17 board. The Joker's Triumph is always short lived. The darkest of nights are found to be with the most hope. The hero always arises to conquer evil.

Simeon's Moment
The moment Simeon beholds the Son of God must have have filled his heart to overflowing excitement. God's promise is fulfilled and the joy that gushes fourth can only be expressed through gratitude. "Thank you, God!" More of Simeon's story can be found in Luke 2:25-35.
How do you come up with a better interpretation than the one already completed? This is my STUDY from the original painting, "Simeon's Moment" painted by master artist, Ron Dicianni.

The Potter
"The Potter" Acrylic paint on 11x17 board. Inspiration from Jeremiah 18:6
"Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand." How often I am in need of molding to be like the "Potter." As I remain in the holiest of holies hands, I will be molded to be more like He intends me to be. A print of this painting can be retrieved at:

Mash Up Piece of Art
A couple of friends of mine had ask me (along with other artists) to be
part of a Miami Vice mix mash up of another pop culture icon. The Avengers
is what I came up with to meet this challenge. 11X17 Acrylic painting. #MiamiViceMashUp

Why so serious?
A painting sketch of the joker? Why so serious? A bit of spatters and black ink. Always fun to experiment with a variety of techniques.
