"The Past of Once Was." The barns in my country area are deteriorating at a fast rate, it seems. To me this is a bit alarming. No farms, no food. However, I've heard stories about specific farms and the land that surrounds them during their hay days. There is sense of intrigue about what they looked like back in the day. For me, These barns produce an aesthetic appeal that I wanted to capture through paint. Below is once that I painted with acrylic on canvas.

Guardians of the Galaxy
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was a fun
and entertaining movie. Two of my favorite characters are Rocket and
Groot from the movie. I liked them quite a bit so I created an acrylic painting of them. I'll post the Youtube time lapse video soon.

Teela
One of my favorite cartoon series was He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Every weekday at 4pm. I would get off the bus and run to my television set to watch it. Sometimes I would have to mess with the tv antennae to get a clear picture. It was truly a high light of my childhood. Below is a painting of Teela. Acrylic on board. With this image I added a bit of Photoshop for the background.

Character Concept
Here's a painting of a character idea created by a friend. He provided the details and I created the vision of what this character may look like. I'm still developing my ability to create more of a fine art approach with the comic genre. I find it challenging and exciting to create an illusion of realism.
