A painting for a friend. My goals are to create works that have movement and great composition. This project is in the right direction in the development of my goals, I think. All in all, this turned out well. On to the next project...

Cartoon Poster

The 2010-2011 cartoon poster is finally completed. Below is the finished piece of all the 8th grade students from this year. I really enjoy creating this type of work. For one, it provides me the opportunity to "stay up with the times" in the mind of an 8th grader. It is also a wonderful reminder of all the great memories I've had with each of these students in the classroom. Each student brings their own unique personalities.

Troy Middle School

Below is my attempt at creating a caricature poster of eight grade students at Troy Middle School. I got the idea from my high school art teacher. The kids at school spend a good amount of time looking at this piece.   Each eighth grade student will receive one of these posters.
