I started this painting about a year ago. Within a few days I stopped working on it. Now I've finally had time to finish it and I'm fairly pleased with it. I notice areas that I need to work on and hope to perfect with the next painting.

Character Concept
Here's the inked version of the cover. Currently, I'm working on the digital process for the cover.
Here's a character concept idea I'm working on. A friend of mine wrote a story. She wanted a cover that would portray the characters. It's wonderful to work with someone that allows for artistic freedom. Next I'll begin the inking process.

Walton's Mountain
Here's a painting I did for a friend of mine. I've always had a hard time painting. Usually my paintings come out fairly good. I think what I have the most difficult time is the time and patience. I enjoy painting, but then I cringe to paint at times. This painting in particular is unique. Placing the "Walton Mountain" over top of the painting was a step of faith. I've never done a painting like this, but I thought I'd try it. I think it has potential.

Dog Portrait
Here's a portrait I drew for a friend of mine. Drawing the hair on dogs are a bit challenging for me. Mostly the fine hair on these two dogs. I think people are easier for me to draw and create shadows because their faces are smooth, but creating an illusion of hair on these dogs required a different approach. To make for a more challenging project was the size. This portrait is a 22 inches by 30 inches. This is the biggest portrait I've done.
