Dusty Roads

Here's an editorial cartoon I created for the Morning Times Newspaper. With the potential increase of water trucks in the area, Sayre and Athens my face possible road problems such as the one depicted in the cartoon below.

Food Menu

Below are food menu displays for the Troy Middle School. These are to help students quickly notice food placements in the lunch line. Newbies will especially benefit from such displays.

Here's an illustration I did for a friend to help with school bus safety. School's about a month away.

Mural

I had the honor to create a new sign promoting the Mt. Pisgah 4H Club. This will be displayed in the 4h building in Troy. Though I've never been part of 4h I'm anticipating my involvement in a few years with my children. My wife was a big 4h participant.

Submission

Starcraft

A friend of mine asked me to create a concept for a Starcraft contest. They'll be releasing a 2nd edition to the Starcraft sega and to create interest they're asking artists to submit artwork. I thought this to be great to try my hand at this type of theme and see where it may go.

Promo Card

I'm putting together a few ideas to promote my talent to a variety of companies. Below is what've come up with to help with mailing convenience. This will be a postcard sent to specific companies. My hope is to expand my opportunities in the commercial world.

Space and Astronomy

I'm teaching at an art camp this year. The theme is Space and Astronomy. I'll be introducing pastels and a project that relates to the theme. To prepare, I came up with these concepts.

Here's a life size painting I did for a co-worker. She's into the Old Wild West. Keeping with this kind of theme, she's placing this cut-out in her stable barn. I'm sure it will be placed in a safe area.

I try to keep developing my ability to draw the human figure and faces. Looking through a magazine I found these two poses from the X-Men movie.

High School Graduate

This is a portrait drawing for a high school graduate of 2010...a gift really. I've known here since she was in the sixth grade. My how time seems to fly by.
